Give citizens a ticket number, let them wait outside or in their car, and call them when it's their turn. Eliminate the crowd at the window.
No credit card ยท No hardware ยท Works on any TV
The problem
People arrive at 6am to queue for a service that won't open until 8am. By the time they're served, half the day is gone. Staff get bombarded with 'how many more?' questions. The lobby is overcrowded and chaotic โ and nobody is happy.
The solution
Citizens scan a QR code at the entrance, get their number, and wait freely โ in their seat, outside, or at a nearby canteen. When their number is up, the display shows it and they walk straight to the window. The lobby empties. Staff focus on service, not crowd control.
Create one counter per window or service type โ civil registry, business permits, clearances. Each gets its own prefix and queue.
Post the QR code at the door or information desk. Citizens scan, enter their name, and get their ticket before entering the lobby.
When a window is ready, the officer clicks Next. The display shows the number. The citizen walks up. No shouting, no confusion.
Show all active windows and their current numbers on a single TV. Citizens in the lobby always know the current state.
They don't have to stand in a crowded lobby. They track their number on their phone from a bench, canteen, or car.
Civil Registry (CR-), Business Permits (BP-), Clearances (CL-) โ each window has its own independent prefix and queue.
See how many citizens were served per window, per day. Useful for staffing reports and service improvement tracking.
